The ADB Grant was issued on improving Tajikistan's roads connectivity. It will be discussed at the next sitting of the fifth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, or the lower chamber of Tajikistan's parliament, of the fourth convocation that will take place on December 25th. The ADB have approved a $70 million grant for the project to magnify regional economic cooperation and inclusive growth by improving key roads, enhancing road safety and maintenance, and promoting local community development September 2013. It will provide rehabilitating and improcing road safety and maintenance on about 88 kilometers of the Sayron-Karamyk road section of CAREC Corridors 3 and 5, and 87 kilometers of the subnetwork Vose-Khavaling Road. It will also improve many more aspects on Tajikistan.
I like the sound of this grant. With this grant, it will pull in more tourists to the beauty of Tajikistan. It will also extend its horizon to a more modern life with solar energy installations for villages and provide more work for the maintenance of solar power facilities. It will be a win-win situation for both citizens and tourists.
As I've said before, they beauty of Tajikistan will lure tourists in. With more tourists spending money there, the government will benefit from them. Some people may even want to live there, meaning more money for the government.
